Composition and dance: Anat Danieli

I return to older [sleeping] works through movement materials and examine what is left in the body, how and what is happening now to what remained. I observe the relationship between the “I” of then and the “I” of now, the way old works come back to life under the audience’s gaze, and how movement material is once again rewritten into the body.

Anat Danieli, an independent artist, choreographer and teacher, is driven by a desire to investigate and to pick what is necessary and beneficial out of the superfluous and hindering. Her 22 works have been staged in Israel and abroad. She is also the artistic director ofthe KelimCenterfor Choreography in Bat Yam.
